Hi everyone - thanks for all the helpful comments. I've put various size mixed bags of Liberty offcuts on the website from £2.99 (plus p&p).

liberty snippets

Just wondering if anyone thinks there's a market for snippets of Liberty Tana Lawn and Kingly cord? My Mum's very efficient pattern cutting technique means my Peak Princess offcuts are quite small and irregular. I was recently asked for some Tatum snippets for a lady making patchwork cathedral cushions. Would also be useful for button covering. I'm thinking I might bag them up and see if there are any buyers out there at the next events I do. Please email me if you think it's a good idea (mail@peakprincess.co.uk).
thanks, Lissa

Craft Candy in Sheffield

Hi Belles!

Just a quick note to tell you all about the Craft Candy group in Sheffield. Craft Candy are a talented bunch of crafters who put on fairs in high-profile venues around Sheffield. Some of you may already be aware of them?

Craft Candy is a non profit making organisation which started July 2008 and it's main role is to promote craft and craftspeople within Sheffield but they let non-Sheffielders (like me - I'm from Leeds) have stalls at their fairs too. The last one I went to in July was great and attended by lots of people and the next one, the Candy Cane Christmas Craft Fair is on the 28th & 29th November at The Workstation (next to Showroom Cinema) in Sheffield and looks like it will be a good one too.

The photo shows my stall (Kiss Prudence see: kissprudence.etsy.com) at the last fair and I'll be at the November fair too. For more info see: http://www.craft-candy.org/

Love Helen xx
